Wow, this had opened up my eyes. In my 8 years of selling Logan Utah real estate, I have always been a buyers agent. I recently started doing listing at the first of this year, and I have had a hate for them. After reading this, I am going to start focusing on doing more listings, as that seems the way to go.

I tried to look up star power, but it looks like they are now closed? hmm….

Russell touches on some really important basics of Real Estate. I remember when I was in my first real estate training. The trainer said Listers are Lasters in the Real Estate business. He hit the nail on the head and it took me 2.5 years to really see exactly what it meant. Being a listing agent is really the best way to have a good work life balance. Working with buyer’s can get you some paychecks but they can also start controlling your life.

It’s nice to see such a strong agent sharing his true viewpoints on being successful in real estate. Eric great interview very eye opening.

Great interview. I see Russell on TV all the time; it’s been that way for years. It’s good to actually learn a little bit about the face behind the No Hassle Listing and an Arizona success story – 31 years! – you don’t hear that anymore.

An interesting article… I’ve known the name Russell Shaw for years. Real Estate isn’t really my thing. But I was particularly interested in the final paragraph, about videos on the web. Training through video is something I’m extremely passionate about. I’ve been doing the same thing for years on my website, and it’s exciting to see someone else realizing the value of the medium for the future.
