Installing WordPress MU on GoDaddy - Yes! It Can Be Done!
As a real estate broker, I have been toying with the idea of using WordPress MU (multiple user) to handle my single property web sites. One WordPress Installation, One Hosting Fee To Pay, Many Different Blogs.
So, one of the first questions was …. could I do it on GoDaddy? If you search the web and the WordPress forums, you’ll find a lot of conflicting information. And some people saying it can’t be done, period.
Well, I did it. And it is not Rocket Science. :-)
Happy Holidays, Chris Pearson
Over the last several months, I have customized a bunch of WordPress Themes. I found the free themes with the cleanest code, and therefore the easiest to customize were Chris Pearson’s: Copyblogger, Cutline and NeoClassical to name a few.
Anyway, I figured I owed Chris one, so I purchased a developer license for his premium theme, Thesis. I know there are several agents now using Thesis and loving it.

Batch Resize in BreezeBrowser Pro
I have used BreezeBrowser Pro for years. I especially like the simple, elegant web galleries that can be created in BreezeBrowser.
And I knew that BreezeBrowser could also handle resizing images in a batch. I just couldn’t seem to see how to do it.
Well, here’s how.

Getting Ready for Wordpress 2.7
In the beginning, No not the one in Genesis, the beginning of the Lab. The Lab was the rat. It was where I tried everything out first, including new release versions of WordPress and all new plugins. It was the Lab. It was/is my hobby blog. If I lost it, no big deal, I still had the business blogs which were the important ones to keep all the content.

Bloodhound Scenius in a Widget
I have to confess, I often don’t understand much of what Greg Swann is saying. I don’t know what a Scenius is and Praxis is either an exploding moon which was the Klingon Empire’s prime source of dilithium or something I go to the chiropractor to get put back in place.
I’ve read all the posts about Scenius several times and I don’t know what it is yet. I think it is a pretty cool piece of code and when I went to put it in my sidebar (which is widgetized) I found I could put it at the top or at the bottom, but I couldn’t place it in the list of widgets to get it in the sidebar where I wanted it to appear; till today.

I agree it’s an interesting concept. Part of NAR’s “going green” is how they positioned it in the press release or announcement email I saw. We’ve been a part of a few of these in the past, “agent attendance” is pretty good. The one we’re in now is call AgentSuperStore, http://www.agentsuperstore.com, where there are floors/halls you can walk to see the vendor virtual booths, visit a cyber cafe to chat, etc. Worth checking out, I think, for agents and real estate onliners alike.
