Cal grew up in the Mississippi Delta and produced Cotton, Corn, and Soybeans for twenty years. In 2002 he obtained his Mississippi real estate license.
He then moved to Gainesville, Georgia, became licensed there, and began taking Computer Information Systems – Internet courses at Lanier Tech in Gainesville.
He spent several years developing the web presence of the North GA Life Team, a Gainesville, GA Real Estate Team with Keller Williams Lanier Partners. He spent time teaching the team how to utilize computer applications tailored to Realtors, marketing listings on the Internet, showing property, negotiating contracts for buyers and sellers, and applying search engine optimization techniques.
In August 2006 he moved to the Gulf Shores / Orange Beach, Alabama area to continue his passion of Internet Real Estate Marketing.
After great experiences selling Lake Lanier property with Keller Williams Lanier Partners, he decided to join Keller Williams Realty Alabama Gulf Coast and established the GulfShoresLife.com Team. His team specializes in marketing beach, bay, and canal waterfront properties for vacation, second home, and investment purposes in the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort Morgan, Point Clear, Fairhope, Daphne, and Spanish Fort, AL area.
He has over twenty years experience in agricultural production including hands on agronomic practices, transportation of farm products, cotton ginning, utilization of computer software from bookkeeping to GIS/GPS applications, as well as negotiating land leases for farming and hunting.
